Dev Build 2: core movement

Place ramp blocks in front of car. It will lock on and drive off the ramp, which then you can use WASD to do cool tricks. Place more ramps while in the air and your car will "lock on" to the ramp, allowing you to chain tricks! Try to land on the rails for more sick moves. You can use SPACE to jump from the grindrails, just be sure to align yourself so you jump at the right angle!

Known bugs in this build:

• can't spin sometimes when you go off ramp
• ramp jumping doesn't work when close to rails when driving on the ground
• sometimes lock on mode overshoots

Controls: 

Mouse Cursor 

• aim mouse to where you want to place blocks
• right click to switch between "square" block and "ramp"
• left click to place

WASD

• W & S to rotate forwards and backwards in air
• A & D to spin, do 360's

Spacebar

• Jump from Grindrail

Dev Keys

• R: reload
• 1 btn: default driving state
• 2: air state 
• 3: stop
• 4: back up
• arrow keys: move car around
• return: move car up
• right shift: move car down

Game Jam Description

A racing game... but you are the track! Click around the track to "spring up" pieces of ground to launch yourself or block other racers! Click right click to switch between ramp and block! Will you use your ground blocks to crush your opponents, or get ahead of the pack?

• this is my first game
• sorry if you get dizzy😭
• the collision for the slope is there but the model is glitchin, collision dont work
• there is no win condition 🤦‍♂️couldnt make the lap counting in time
• you can place as many ground blocks as you want lol
